Returns and Refund Policy

1. Return Eligibility

  • Timeframe: Items can be returned within 2 days of the delivery date.

  • Condition: To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

  • Non-returnable Items: Certain items are non-returnable, such as [custom products, intimate apparel, final sale items, etc.].

 

2. Return Process

  • Initiating a Return: To start a return, contact us at [Customer Service Email/Phone]. Please include your order number and reason for return.

  • Return Authorization: Once your return request is approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on how to send your item back.

  • Shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item sent, defective product).

 

3. Refunds

  • Inspection: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Processing: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5 - 7 business days.

  • Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be granted for items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

 

4. Exchanges

  • Process: After receiving your exchange request, we will provide instructions on how to proceed.

 

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Responsibility: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or an incorrect item was shipped.

  • Shipping Label: We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for return shipments. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

6. Refund Exceptions

  • Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at hemasbutterfly@gmail.com.

 

7. Gifts

  • Gift Returns: If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

  • Non-gift Purchases: If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
